The GI Joe folks over at Hasbro have answered some more questions, so if you're interested in peg-warmers or flight stands in the GI Joe world, I suggest you keep reading.
AD: While people seem to like the quality and assortment of characters offered in the movie line thus far, there are still a lot hanging on pegs all across the country. How are you looking at this success/failure and altering plans for any future releases?
GIJOE: As with all product lines some characters sell better than others. We will take on these key learnings as we move forward with future planning. As a whole we are very pleased with the performance of G.I. Joe this year. It has been and continues to be an exciting time for the brand!
AD: As mentioned in the previous question, there seem to be a lot of peg-warmers left over from the movie line, blocking the way for new releases to start hitting collectors' hands. Are there any plans with retailers to help clear this shelf space and move in new product, ensuring the future success of the line?
GIJOE: We always try our best to keep stock fresh on shelves to provide the best variety for fans. The Pursuit of Cobra product will hit shelves in 2010. The line looks fantastic and we are very excited about its release!
AD: [From DrNightmare] Are there any plans to release action/flight stands for GI Joe figures? Something like the old Toy Biz Superhero Showdown figures had, all those ninjas in people's collections would appreciate them!
GIJOE: This is a great question and the team will be looking into possibilities so stay tuned.
A big thanks goes out to Hasbro for taking the time to answer our questions!
