Past Generation Toys has been kind enough to sponsor a giveaway for GI Joe Week here at Articulated Discussion. They have a ton of GI Joe products from classic figures to brand new movie toys, so head over there and stock up on all the GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra toys you don't have yet. The movie might end up being terrible, but the toys are surprisingly good (as you'll see in reviews all week), and Past Generation Toys is a great place to buy them. Read on for the details on entering to win one of three free toys!


Up for grabs are three separate figures going to three separate winners. The prizes are the following action figures:

To enter this contest, you need to do two quick and easy things. First, you'll have to follow Past Generation Toys at their Twitter page, pastgentoys, and second you need to leave a message for pastgentoys on your twitter page saying exactly the following: "@pastgentoys I want to win a free GI Joe!" Once you've done those two easy things, your name will be put in the hat to be randomly selected to win one of the 3 free GI Joe figures! There is a step by step guide at the bottom of this page if you don't know how to use Twitter.

There are some more specific rules below.

• Three GI Joe figures will be given away. Each of three winners will receive only one of the three figures. You will not be able to select which figure you want.
• To enter, you must be a follower of pastgentoys on Twitter through August 14th, 2009 and also have posted a message on your twitter containing the following text: "@pastgentoys I want to win a free GI Joe!".
• Both of the above actions must be completed by August 14th at 11:59:59pm Eastern time to be eligible to win.
• Winners will be randomly selected.
• The winners will be contacted through Twitter and if the prize is not claimed within three days of contact, a new winner will be selected.

Step by Step Entry Guide for Those Unfamiliar with Twitter (It shouldn't take more than one minute from start to finish)
1. Visit http://www.twitter.com/pastgentoys
2. If you're already using Twitter, just hit the "Follow" button at the top of the page. If you're not, then hit the "Join Today" button at the top of the page and fill in all the necessary information.
3. Once logged in to your account, there will be a text entry field at the top of the page. Type in "@pastgentoys I want to win a free GI Joe!", then post your tweet, and your entry will be counted!
