I think Icicle and Silver Banshee (and the normal Batman and Superman) were technically Wave 1, so John really did the complete series! Very comprehensive, he was.

And I'm pretty sure I've seen the word "buck" used to mean "body" even in Mattel Q&As, and words do change, so I'm with TAO that I don't have a problem with people using it "incorrectly." YGR's not happy unless he's insulting someone for being inferior to his unparalleled greatness, though. ;)

Thanks for the plug(s) my friend. Just a quick correction if you feel like it - I actually did wave 2 of the Superman/Batman: Public Enemies with parts of wave 1. It's all good by me though.

The Killer Bees review had some great info about figure "bucks", it's just too bad it was casually added to a review most people will probably overlook. Makes me glad you collect reviews here so it has a greater chance of being read.

@John - Yeah, I know, but I was kind of considering the whole thing a "wave" since it technically has a single C&C. It's hard to label things when ther are more than 2-3 figures being reviewed at a time, so i just kind of give it my best shot.

@Nightmare - Yeah, that was interesting. Although people don't technically use the term correctly, it's not really misleading to sayy that the, for instance, "medium DCUC body" is a buck, because it does in fact share the same dimensions and is swappable among figures. It probably wasn't built on a buck, but I don't have problems with people using the term. Words do evolve and change, and to take a 20-year old perspective and hold on to it might be a little limiting. I don't ever say buck anyway that I'm aware of, just "standard body" for me.

That Colossus looks like a poor figure. To begin with, he's from the X-Men Origins Wolverine line. (He was never in the movie!) Second, they gave him a hammer. ???

Thanks for the plug, and for the links this week.

I've been waiting for that Colossus figure to arrive here since I first saw it online, but no such luck. Hoping that now that the entire XMO line has gone to clearance here in the Philippines, we'll see the distributor put out a few to pull people into the stores.

Yeah, the Colossus figure never hit shelves here in Singapore. I saw a grand total of 2 of them at one specialty store and it was going for an insane price.

Just an aside: there's also a Cyclops from the XMO line, but beware, the guys maybe in his new costume, but he ain;t got no ankle articulation. Colossus though seemed good aside from some paint problems.

Yup, we got a few of the XMO Cyclops and the XMO Iceman here, but they were always insanely shortpacked and gone before they were shelved. Only saw either of them only once, and that was at an event. Had them in my hand and decided to put them back because I was still trying not to give into the 3.75" temptation. Can you say "doh".
